Festive Footsteps – Celebrating Holidays Throughout the Year
The Walk-a-Thon brings together students, families, staff, and the church congregation to support meaningful community causes while investing in the future of St. John’s Westminster Learning Center. Through this event, we celebrate service, generosity, and the strength of our community.
This year’s theme celebrates holidays and special occasions throughout the year. Each classroom will select a holiday and bring it to life through themed T-shirts, games, decorations, and activities, creating a fun and festive experience for all participants.
Who Benefits?
Delhi Skirt Game (25%)
Supports Delhi Township residents facing financial hardship. For nearly 50 years, the volunteer-led organization has provided assistance to local families experiencing unexpected life challenges and basic needs insecurity.
Maria Waters Medical Fund (25%)
Supports former long-time, Learning Center teacher Maria Waters, a Mount St. Joseph University graduate, as she undergoes treatment for Stage III ovarian cancer. Donations to this fund will help ease the significant medical and financial burdens facing Maria and her family, providing vital support throughout her treatment and recovery.
St. John’s Westminster Learning Center (50%)
Supports educational supplies, equipment, and facility improvements that enhance the learning environment and directly benefit students.
