Community life is at the heart of our church, fostering strong connections and support among our members. Every Sunday after the service, we gather for fellowship and refreshments, creating an opportunity to enjoy each other’s company and build relationships. Also, we coordinate a variety of special events and meals throughout the year.
In times of need, we come together to provide meals for members recovering from illness or surgery. The Community Life Committee plays a vital role in reaching out to those who are homebound or require special care, through cards, calls, emails, and visits. Pastor Andrew also ensures that those who are unable to attend services and events stay connected with the church community.
Our annual picnic, held each September, is always a cherished event, bringing everyone together for fun and fellowship. Additionally, we often organize receptions for funerals or visitations at SJWUC, supporting families during difficult times with care and compassion.
