DESCRIPTION:Please pick up shoeboxes in the Narthex and have fun filling them up.  Invite friends and family to fill one too.  Your gift is an expression of God’s love to a needy child.  \nFor more than 30 years\, Samaritan’s Purse has collected and delivered over 232 million shoebox gifts to children in more than 170 countries.  For many of these children\, the gift-filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received. \nTake a shoebox\, shoebox label\, and gift suggestions.  Choose the child’s sex\, age and items to be included.  Do not include food (anything edible)\, liquids (including toothpaste)\, or breakable items. \nYou may donate $10 per box to cover shipping and project costs. \nHow about filling a shoebox online? It is so easy\, takes less than 10 minutes and the total cost is $30.  To fill a shoebox online visit:  https://samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/buildonline/.  Then\, fill out a card at the Operation Christmas Child table with your name and number of online boxes you filled so they will be counted in the SJWUC total. \nThe SJWUC goal this year is 55 shoeboxes.  For questions\, contact Heidi Meyer at 513-407-0036. \nFill and return boxes to church no later than Thursday\, November 13th.
